North-West Okavango Delta, Botswana
Situated within the Linyanti Kwando Concession on the shady banks of the Kwando River, Kwando Lagoon Camp offers luxury tented accommodation in one of Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas.
One of only two safari camps in the Kwando private concession, Kwando Lagoon Camp is home to 8 spacious, en-suite luxurious tents overlooking the lagoon, each with a private game-viewing deck. The camp, which has a fantastic atmosphere and friendly local staff, has built its reputation on action-packed game-viewing, offering dedicated tracking and excellent guiding services.
Activities at camp revolve around open vehicle game drives and boat cruises – the river boat cruise is a unique experience where the flow of the river enables the double-decker boat to drift with the flow in silence, offering perfect opportunities for bird watching and game-viewing. You can also go on game walks with your guide and off-road and night game drives that give you the chance to see the fascinating nocturnal wildlife in the area.
Lightfoot Travel provides tailor-made itineraries that include daily tours and excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, and can incorporate Okavango Delta into a greater Botswana holiday. Take a look at Wild Bush Luxury as an example of a bespoke itinerary that we can create for you.
