Duba Plains Camp

Okavango Delta

Situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Duba Plains Camp is nestled within a 33,000-hectare private reserve, characterized by palm-dotted islands, flood plains, and woodland. With 5 bespoke suites and a separate 2-bedroom Duba Plains Suite, designed by Dereck Joubert, the camp captures the essence of classic African safari style from the 1920s. Elevated on recycled railway sleeper decking, all rooms provide guests with breathtaking views of the floodplain and the abundant wildlife.

Duba Plains has executive chefs and boasts a cellar of a few hundred bottles of wine from friends of the Jouberts - winemakers who tell their story beyond the bottle, conservationists, people who have a community they support or something they give back besides being on the Great Plains Wine Selection for the quality of their wines.

Owned by Dereck and Beverly Joubert, acclaimed National Geographic filmmakers, conservationists, and explorers, Duba Plains Camp offers unparalleled wildlife experiences, with thousands of animals roaming the area. Operated solely by Great Plains Conservation, guests enjoy exclusive access to private wildlife sightings.

Duba Plains prides itself on its extraordinary wildlife experiences and intimate up-close exposure to the best of the best wildlife, from lions and leopards to elephants and buffalo and everything in between. Duba Plains is also known for interesting Kalahari species like Aardwolf and Pangolins.
