All 18 rooms face the lake, said to be the birthplace of the Inca civilisation. Location & Getting There

Situated in a magnificent setting on the shores of Lake Titicaca on the border between Peru and Bolivia, Titilaka Lodge is a 30-minute flight from Cusco and a 80-minute flight from Lima.

Accommodation

This charming eco-hotel features 18 lake-facing suites over three levels connected by a central hallway. Corner rooms are the most popular and requested room, with comfy sofa beds by the large windows and panoramic views of the lake. Dawn rooms and Dusk rooms feature an exceptional view of the vast Lake Titicaca, also equipped with large sofa beds by the window. King rooms offer the same amenities, with one special one offering facilities for people with disabilities. All rooms are equipped with heated floors, multi-purpose table, huge bathrooms and a fully equipped mini-bar.

Activities

There are plenty of activities on offer at the lodge. Go mountain-biking, rowing, stargazing, visit the birthplace of the Incas via a four-hour boat ride away, and to Titicaca’s floating Uros Islands, followed by a visit the spa for some indulgent treatments to rejuvenate after a strenuous day.
