The Chedi Muscat Testimonials

Everything organised from your end went so smoothly. We carried our itinerary with us which made us thoroughly prepared for each car journey with the kids.

The accommodation was superb. Each tent, villa and suite was perfection suited to our family situation and had a boutique and unique feel – so appreciated after years of staying in bland hotels and no character. The Chedi was divine, with the kids enjoying the pool, the huge bath in the room and access to the executive lounge for afternoon tea and canapés which mostly served as their dinner. We loved the beach restaurant and the superb architecture and environment. Service was faultless and although fully occupied the resort felt quiet and personalised. The turtle cove was wonderful for our Children – they enjoyed sleeping in the glamping tent.

I am so glad you booked us for only one night at the desert. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I particularly enjoyed the sunset over the dunes but the heat was excruciating so a late afternoon arrival, early departure was perfect.

The Alila up in the mountains was the most spectacular resort I have ever stayed at. There was so much attention to detail everywhere. I could not stop wondering at the architecture and spent many hours looking at the view! The kids were totally occupied by the indoor and outdoor pool, attentive staff and occasional trip to the very well appointed kids club. Every morning we did a hike with the kids in the cool air. The restaurant was outstanding.

Final stop was the six senses – the drive there was comfortable if not completely terrifying coming over the mountain but I guess that’s part of the fun. The villa was superb and the touches such as bikes for the family, teenage adventure club, outdoor beach dinner made it a very special memory for us all. Pretty much all of management made a point of having a chat with us and by the second day all staff knew your coffee order and favourite food. Impressive. I am so impressed with your service that I am already looking into our next trip as a family with lightfoot travel hopefully with you as the trip designer.
