Sails is so-called because of the white, sail-shaped awnings that line the property’s outdoor spaces. The elegant and spacious rooms and suites all come with a balcony or terrace. Rooms are decorated in a neutral color palette with accents inspired by Anangu culture and traditions. Some rooms have extended balconies with an alfresco spa bath, made for relaxing in with a glass of champagne under starry skies.

The restaurant, Ilkari, offers an international menu. There’s also a bar and a poolside bar next to the pool that’s heated to a welcoming 26 degrees.

Location & Getting There
It is located at the gateway to UNESCO World Heritage site Uluru-Kata Tjuta, 8 km from Ayers Rock Connellan Airport in Australia’s Northern Territory.

Accommodation
The hotel comprises 228 spacious and tastefully appointed rooms and suites: 33-sqm Superior Rooms, 36-sqm Terrace Rooms, and 77-sqm Deluxe Suites, which come with multiple terraces and a spa bath. Each room features a comfy king-size or queen beds, Aboriginal artwork, and all modern amenities. Interconnecting rooms are available.

The resort offers walking trails, tennis, swimming, and spa treatments and there are 65 tours and experiences on offer. Explore Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Kings Canyon, head out on a 4WD, go camel trekking or enjoy a scenic helicopter flight.
