Situated within the Linyanti Kwando Concession on the shady banks of the Kwando River in North-West Okavango Delta in Botswana, Kwando Lagoon Camp offers luxury tented accommodation in one of Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas.

One of only two African safari camps in the Kwando private concession, Kwando Lagoon Camp is home to eight spacious, en suite luxurious tents overlooking the lagoon, each with a private game-viewing deck. The camp, which has a fantastic atmosphere and friendly local staff, has built its reputation on action-packed game-viewing, offering dedicated tracking and excellent guiding services.

Activities at camp revolve around open vehicle game drives and boat cruises – the river boat cruise is a unique experience where the flow of the river enables the double-decker boat to drift with the flow in silence, offering perfect opportunities for bird watching and game-viewing. You can also go on nature walks with your guide and off-road and night game drives that give you the chance to see the fascinating nocturnal wildlife in the area.

Location & Getting There

Kwando Lagoon Camp is located at North-West Okavango Delta. It is a 55-minute light aircraft flight from Maun to Kwando Airstrip, followed by a 20-30 minute game drive to the camp.

Accommodations

The Kwando camp comprises of 8 tents accommodating up to 18 guests, including a twin room family unit.

Activities

Guests can embark on day and night game drives to enjoy the Kwando Safari experience that is guided by a team of professional guide and trackers. Guests can also enjoy boat trips, nature walks, leisurely game walks and fishing.

Children

A minimum age of 6 years. A family safari will ensure a private guide, tracker and vehicle. Activities can be arranged to suit the specific ages of the children.
