Hotel Budir provides 28 comfortable and individually designed rooms featuring traditional décor and huge picture windows from which to enjoy the impressive views. The hotel’s only suite is ideal for families.
Known as the Mecca of Icelandic cooking, the hotel’s restaurant is supremely romantic and is one of the main attractions of the hotel. It features an innovative and seasonal menu of Nordic cuisine prepared using fresh local produce and is famous for its unique fish dishes, original starters and divine desserts.

The hotel makes the ideal base from which to explore the area, renowned for its natural beauty. Explore volcanoes, craters, glaciers and the stunning coastline. Endless activities including horse riding, sailing, hiking, snowmobiling, scenic helicopter flights and whale watching can be arranged.

After a tiring day, relax in the comfort of the hotel and watch the seals play on the rocks from the balcony; sip a hot chocolate in front of the fireplace; or enjoy the unforgettable experience of the Northern Lights illuminating the sky.
