Hacienda San Jose

Set in tropical gardens and surrounded by woodland and rolling hills, Hacienda San Jose is a restored, colonial-era hacienda around ten minutes from Pereira. Built-in 1888, this rural retreat oozes charm, character, and authenticity, and offers the perfect base to explore Colombia’s verdant coffee triangle.

The hacienda has eight rooms and suites overlooking the gardens or pool. The en suite rooms are richly decorated with vintage colonial furnishings, colorful textiles, local artworks and artifacts, and family memorabilia, giving it a welcoming ambiance.

The dining room serves home-cooked meals that reflect the flavors, colors, and diversity of Colombian cuisine, along with some international favorites. Menus vary by season, with meals served into the dining room or under the veranda.

Spend your days exploring coffee plantations, horse riding, and wandering along nature trails. Back at the hotel, laze around the pool and Jacuzzi, join cookery classes, and watch birds flit around the gardens.
