The resort is located in Oracabessa Bay on the north coast of Jamaica. It is 20 minutes from Ocho Rios and 73 miles (a 1 hour 30-minute drive) from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.
GoldenEye comprises 19 stylish and spacious cottages and villas all with patios or balconies overlooking the sea or lagoon. There are also a number of newly created beach huts. Each room features custom-made Jamaican furniture, a king-size bed with Frette linens, a spacious bathroom with a deep-soaking bathtub and all-modern amenities. Lagoon Cottages have their own private dock and a kayak. Ian Fleming’s original 5-bed villa, which comes with a pool, a private beach and a sunken garden is also available.
The array of activities includes swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, tennis and yoga. You can also go jet skiing, deep-sea fishing or explore the island. The resort is minutes from James Bond Beach.
GoldenEye is a paradise for children. As well as gardens, woods, lagoons and caves to explore, there are supervised activities for kids including kayaking, snorkelling, coconut carving and art classes. Babysitting can be arranged.
