Four Seasons Hotel Florence

Florence

The Florence home of the Four Seasons hotel group is undoubtedly one of the city’s most desirable hotels. The main building is a converted Renaissance palace which was the private residence of Florentine nobles for five hundred years, and it only became the Four Seasons Florence in 2008. Across the huge gardens, a 16th-century convent building houses further rooms.

The hotel has 116 guest rooms, of which 44 are suites, in which rich fabrics and opulent antiques create a feeling of total luxury. The hotel is decorated throughout with period furniture, oil paintings, and frescoes.

Il Palagio is the main restaurant and serves Tuscan and Italian cuisine. The glass-roofed Atrium Bar also serves drinks and light meals.

The Four Seasons spa has ten treatment rooms, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a steam room, and all treatments use products from Florence’s oldest pharmacy. One of the highlights here is that the property sits within 11 acres of the Giardino Della Gherardesca, Florence’s largest private botanical garden, so don't forget to go on a stroll!
