EcoCamp Patagonia Information
- Location & Getting There:
EcoCamp Patagonia is located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, in the southern tip of the Andes in Chile. Punta Arenas Airport is 400 km away (approximately 4-5 hours by car).
EcoCamp Patagonia offers sustainable geodesic accommodations, inspired by the ancient dwellings of the Kaweskar tribe. Four types of domes are available, ranging from the standard dome for the true camping experience, to the split-level Suite Dome Loft, which sleeps up to four people and includes a private terrace and wood-burning stove.
The eco-friendly design uses natural materials that leave a minimal carbon footprint. All domes are resistant to the Patagonian elements and set within the spectacular natural setting of Torres del Paine’s rugged terrain. Guests can choose between king, queen, or twin beds that look up through the domes’ transparent tops, toward the starry night sky.
Torres del Paine National Park is in the heart of the Patagonian landscape, making it the ideal place to set out for adventure each day. Guests can enjoy a variety of guided activities including breathtaking hikes through ancient mountains, forests, glaciers, lakes, rivers, and fjords. There is also yoga, cycling, and fly-fishing to be found. And after the activities of the day, a private terrace is the ideal spot to sit back and take in the majestic landscape all around.
EcoCamp welcomes children of all ages. The Wildlife Safari is particularly suitable for families with younger children staying in quadruple domes.
