Cobblers Cove

Cobblers Cove is a luxury retreat nestled within lush tropical gardens on the northwest coast of Barbados. Originally a plantation house, today it’s a chic, all-suite Relais & Chateaux hotel with a dusky pink and white exterior, and a style that blends Caribbean charm with English refinement.

The 40 spacious suites boast a comfy bedroom and a separate sitting room with white wicker furniture, a sofa bed, a small library, and a kitchenette. Each one opens out onto a terrace or balcony where you can relax and admire the lush gardens or the sea.

The Camelot Restaurant has an innovative, seasonal, island-inspired menu; on Tuesday evenings there’s a barbecue buffet; on Fridays, the menu celebrates seafood. Cobblers Cove Bar serves fresh juices, tropical drinks, and evening cocktails.

The kidney-shape pool overlooks the sea; there’s a small air-conditioned gym; and the onsite Sea Moon Spa offers soothing massages, body scrubs, facials, and mani/pedi services.

Location & Getting There
Cobblers Cove is located on the northwest coast of Barbados. It is walking distance from Speightstown and a 45-minute drive from the international airport.

Accommodation
The 40 spacious and elegant suites are located in 10 2-storey buildings set in the gardens and range from 52-sqm Cobblers Garden Suites to the magnificent Camelot or Colleton at the Great House suites, which both feature a rooftop terrace and plunge pool. Each suite features a king-size (or twin) bed with Egyptian cotton linens, wicker furnishings, a luxurious marble bathroom, a separate living area, a private terrace or balcony overlooking the gardens, and all modern amenities.

Activities
Activities include water-skiing, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, scuba diving, tennis, cricket, and yoga. For those wishing to explore the island, visit The Barbados Museum, wander around a local food market, see the Andromeda Botanic Gardens or head to Flower Forest.

Children
The rugged terrain of the property is not ideal for young children but children below 12 years old can stay for free. Babysitting services are also available.
