Casas Brancas is a stylish 32 room boutique hotel overlooking Buzios Bay from its hillside location a short walk from the cobbled streets of the Rua das Pedras. A 2.5-3 drive from Rio, Casas Brancas is a great spot to unwind at the end of a Brazil holiday or simply a retreat after a lively weekend in Rio.
Most of the rooms are sea facing , plenty with balconies, but opt for a deluxe room and above for large terraces with sun loungers looking out to the bay. The décor is Mediterranean in style with plenty of white washed walls alongside flashes of colour thanks to various items brought back from the owner’s travels to Asia.
Eat well at the two restaurants serving up delicious Brazilian and Mediterranean fare, Café Atlántico has a superb terrace for sunset cocktails and night-time views across the bay.
Lightfoot Travel provides tailor-made itineraries that include daily tours and excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, and can incorporate Buzios into a greater Brazilian holiday. Take a look at Classic Brazil as an example of a bespoke itinerary that we can create for you.
