St Moritz, Switzerland

In spite of its prestige and sheer glitz and glamour, Badrutt’s Palace is an extremely welcoming and friendly hotel, with enormous emphasis placed on the personalised service provided to each and every guest.

Badrutt’s Palace has 157 rooms, of which 37 are suites. Thanks to its position on the shores of Lake St. Moritz, many have beautiful views of water and the Engadin mountain valley beyond.

Public spaces such as the spectacular lobby and the tea lounge at Badrutt’s Palace are wood-panelled and stately, adding to the hotel’s traditional feel, but there are more than enough cutting-edge elements to avoid any danger of being old-fashioned.

In the winter, the intimate Relais Restaurant at Badrutt’s Palace plays host to Japanese restaurant Nobu, the Renaissance Bar is the resort’s best-known cocktail spot, and the hotel’s King’s Club is still the most sought-after nightclub in the region.

The recently renovated Palace Wellness spa and Fitness area at Badrutt’s Palace includes a spectacular indoor swimming pool from which the snow-covered forests and mountains can be enjoyed through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Outside, Badrutt’s Palace has another heated pool, and summer tennis courts which are converted into an ice rink during the winter season. Light Mediterranean cuisine is served at the La Diala restaurant within the Palace Wellness area.

Lightfoot Travel provides tailor-made itineraries that include daily tours and excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, and can incorporate St. Moritz into a greater Swiss or European holiday. Badrutts Palace Hotel Testimonials

Hi Elgin,

Hope you are doing great.

I just landed this morning to Singapore and I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in St Moritz.

I wanted to thank you for your great organisation. The service at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel was impeccable and the choices of restaurants there were really good. We actually never felt the need to eat outside the restaurants of the hotel.

We had sunny weather during our stay so we really enjoyed skiing and having lunch at the best spots on the slopes. We also used the spa’s facilities every day and had a walk in the village before dinner. St Moritz village is very nice, it was exactly what we expected for our stay as a couple in st Moritz. Great service and best hotel, great food, nice slopes and not too crowded and quiet dinners at night in great restaurants.

We are definitely reconsidering going next year to St moritz in case we plan a  ski vacation as a couple or even with the kids.

Thank you Elgin for all you support and advice.
