The Hebridean Sky (formerly the Sea Explorer) is a small expedition ship with an ice-strengthened hull accommodating up to 110 passengers. She is perfect for those who wish to combine adventure with a high level of comfort.

With 53 cabins, all six categories can be twin or double bedded and come with seating area, private bathroom and porthole or picture windows. Several of the suites come with a private balcony reached via sliding doors for even better Antarctic vistas.

Meals are varied each day and wine is included. Public areas include a panoramic lounge, wraparound sun deck with Jacuzzi, and a well-stocked library.

The Hebridean Sky has an excellent zodiac and guide-to-passenger ratio with 10 zodiacs on board so you can fully explore. Away from the vessel, additional activities include kayaking plus camping, snowshoeing and mountaineering.

Location & Getting There

The Hebridean Sky is a small expedition ship which sails from Ushuaia in Argentina to the Antarctic Peninsula and Falklands & South Georgia as part of longer cruises.

Accommodation

The ship provides 53 cabins that accomodates up to 110 guests, all of which are twin or double bedded and come with a sitting area, private marble-appointed bathroom and porthole or picture windows. Penthouse Suites and Veranda Suites come with a private balcony accessed via sliding doors and butler service. A small number of triple cabins are also available.

Activities

The Hebridean Sky has 10 zodiacs on board which is crucial for a heightened experience of Antarctica. The additional activities of kayaking on all departures, camping, snowshoeing and mountaineering on selected departures are excellent additions to the voyage programme.

Children

Children are welcome but there are no specific facilities available.
