Akademik Ioffe Information
The Akademik Ioffe accommodates up 96 guests. The Main Deck Triple Share is located on Deck 3 and comprises of bunk beds and a sofa bed with a shared bathroom, while the Twin Semi-Private is located on Deck 4 and comprises of one lower berth and one sofa bed. A bathroom is shared between 2 cabins. The Twin Privates are located on Deck 4 & 5, comprising of two lower berths and private facilities. The Superior cabin room is located on Deck 6 and comprises of 2 lower berths, a sofa and private facilities. The Shackleton Suite is located on Deck 4 & 5 and has one double berth, one sofa bed and separate sleeping quarters with private facilities. The One Ocean Suite is the ultimate luxurious suite. Located on Deck 5, it comprises of a double berth, one sofa bed and separate sleeping quarters, with upgraded bedding. Facilities are private and a bathtub is provided.

Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as outdoor camping in Antartica, star-gazing and enjoying the night skies. Avid photographers can receive professional guidance from a variety of photography programmes, where at the end, multimedia rooms are provided for photo downloading and optimisation. Guests can also learn more about the marine mammals through the GRUVA, a marine mammal educational access by the specialists or go whale watching. Alternatively, for the adventurous, sea kayaking and even overnight sea kayaking is available. To pamper yourself after a day of activities, indulge in a massage or drink at the bar.
