USA

Four Seasons Napa Valley

Gourmands are sure to love this new Four Seasons hideaway California. This farmhouse-style property that is set within the grounds of its own world-class vineyard in Calistoga will offer private grape to glass tasting sessions for guests. If your arm is a little achy after constantly filling your glass, relax in one of the two swimming pools or pamper yourself in the spa that comes with geothermal waters. If you still haven’t had enough of the wines, you can book into one of the spa cabanas found among the five acres of vines.

BRAZIL

Nannai Noronha

The small island of Pernambuco off the northern coast of Brazil is set to be home of the latest property from the team behind the Nannai Resort & Spa in Mura Alto. Featuring just 19 bungalows, which each come with a terrace and plunge pool can be found within a private bay. The Nannai Resort & Spa was named the most romantic hotel in the world, but we think they will have another contender.

INDIA

Six Senses Fort Barwara

Feel like royalty on holiday, book into the new Six Senses Fort Barwara, a three-hour drive from Jaipur. This 14-century fort, which was owned by the Rajasthani royal family, has been turned into a luxury hotel. Within its walled grounds, you’ll find a palace and two temples. Relax in one of the two swimming pools, dine in one of the two restaurants or enjoy an Ayurvedic treatment in what was once the women’s palace and is now a Six Senses spa. Opens autumn/winter 2019.

SWEDEN

Arctic Bath

The team behind the famed Treehouse Hotel are back with another showstopping hotel – the floating Arctic Bath. Possibly your most refreshing getaway yet, the donut-shaped retreat features six hotel rooms, four saunas and a plunge pool at its centre. The boutique hotel is taken inspiration from the log jams that float down the Lule River and it is sure to become a star of Instagram when it launches in 2019.
