41 Lighthouse Street

41 Lighthouse Street is a beautifully renovated 300-year-old Dutch house centrally located to explore Galle Fort,  the surrounding beaches, and the rich southern heritage.

The house has three suites; two upstairs and one downstairs. The master bedroom contains a four-poster bed as well as a living area with teak parquet flooring and a cozy sofa corner. The other two bedrooms do not have the extended living area, but all three are completed with soft, white linen sheets and lavish en-suite bathrooms. 

With huge open arches, exposed beams, and black and white chequered floors, this sanctuary is all about understated elegance. A large garden frames the vast swimming pool and is ideal for sunbathing or alfresco dinners prepared by your private chef. In the case of tropical showers, the sheltered gazebo in the corner of the high-walled courtyard provides the perfect place to sit and watch the rain.

Boasting the only pool table in the entire fort plus an imported wine cellar, 41 Lighthouse Street is a great stay for both families and groups of friends.
