Hotel de Russie

Rome

Located between Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo, Hotel de Russie is one of the Eternal City’s most prestigious luxury hotels. An enduring favorite of artists and writers, stars, and politicians, Hotel de Russie was dubbed “paradise on earth” by French poet Jean Cocteau in 1917, and the accolade still stands today.

There are 122 rooms, including 33 suites, four of which have their own private terraces. Many rooms have views either of the hotel’s gardens or the Piazza del Popolo.

The classic Italian menu in the hotel’s restaurant, the Jardin de Russie, is extremely popular with locals as well as hotel guests, particularly in the summer when its tables are dotted around the garden, as well as on the terrace. The Stravinskij Bar is the ideal spot to retire to for an afternoon tea or cocktails, either inside or at tables spilling out onto Piazzetta Valadier.

There is also a marine hydropool, steam rooms, and six spa treatment rooms.
