Vivienne was born in Hong Kong, but her family moved to Wellington, New Zealand when she was three years old where she lived from primary school right through to graduation from Victoria University of Wellington. Having spent most of her life in New Zealand, it’s the place she calls home and like most Kiwis, she is fiercely supportive of the All Blacks!
Soon after graduation, she returned to Hong Kong and worked as a teacher for two years. Deciding that she wanted to work in an environment that would give her more opportunities to travel, she took on a role as a flight specialist for an agency. Looking to expand her role, and based on her desire to help make people’s holidays the best they can be, she joined Lightfoot Travel as a Flight and Travel Designer.
Vivienne 's Picks
- Hotel: Four Seasons Jimbaran, Bali - It is so hard to find the motivation to leave your villa here! Each one has a plunge pool with sun loungers and a separate outdoor pavilion to escape the heat without having to go indoors. There's also a fantastic beach club by called Sundara with its own infinity pool right on the beach.
- City: Bali - I've been to the island nine times over the last four years and it's my go-to destination for a quick escape. It's far enough away from HK to feel like a holiday, and there's no time difference so no problem with jetlag.
- Beach: Geger Beach, Nusa Dua - This beach isn't too big or crowded and the breeze is perfect; you can lie in the sun but still stay cool. The staff at Geger Beach Club are friendly and the mie goreng there is the best I've ever tasted.
