Casa Pestagua is an award-winning luxury boutique hotel situated in the heart of the ancient walled city of Cartagena in Colombia. It was built in the 18th century by the Count of Pestagua in the style of a Moorish palace featuring ochre walls, painted ceilings carved stone windows and marble statues. Recently restored to its original splendour, it combines colonial style with Spanish influences and modern comforts.
Casa Pestagua provides just 11 expansive and elegant rooms and suites with palatial ceilings and period colonial-republican and Art Deco decor. Some rooms are more modern than others, but all exude romantic charm.
The hotel is ideally located for exploring the port city of Cartagena.
