“Hebridean Sky is one of the smallest, safest and most relaxing ships in expedition cruising. With state-of-the-art stabilisers, brilliantly trained staff and very comfortable cabins, it offers you an exclusive way to explore the world. To get the most out of your trip, we recommend taking part in citizen science projects along the way.”
The Hebridean Sky (formerly the Sea Explorer) is a small expedition ship with an ice-strengthened hull accommodating up to 110 passengers. She is perfect for those who wish to combine adventure with a high level of comfort.
With 53 cabins, all six categories can be twin or double bedded and come with seating area, private bathroom and porthole or picture windows. Several of the suites come with a private balcony reached via sliding doors for even better Antarctic vistas.
Meals are varied each day and wine is included. Public areas include a panoramic lounge, wraparound sun deck with Jacuzzi, and a well-stocked library.
The Hebridean Sky has an excellent zodiac and guide-to-passenger ratio with 10 zodiacs on board so you can fully explore. Away from the vessel, additional activities include kayaking plus camping, snowshoeing and mountaineering.
