Day 2 Explore Kauai’s Natural Wonders
After breakfast, you’ll set off on a half-day private hike around Waimea Canyon, located on the western side of the island.
In the afternoon, enjoy a private kayak trip down Hanalei River and into Hanalei Bay where you’ll see Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles before doing a spot of snorkelling.
Day 3 Na Pali Coast Rafting Adventure
Today, you’ll enjoy a half day rafting trip along the rugged Na Pali coastline. Your expert guides will take you into sea caves and past mesmerising waterfalls, cliffs and pinnacles, spotting sea life along the way.
If you still have the energy there’ll be time to explore Old Koloa Town or visit Spouting Horn, one of the island’s natural wonders.
Day 4 Arrival Maui
This morning you’ll drop your rental car back at the airport and take a short domestic flight to the island of Maui.
On arrival, you’ll collect your next rental car and head for Andaz Maui Hotel, a charming beachfront property and your home for the next three nights.
After unpacking you can explore the hotel and your surroundings at leisure. As well as private access to Mokapu Beach, there are five dining options, four infinity pools, a poolside cocktail lounge and a pool just for adults.
Day 5 Maui by Helicopter
Explore Maui from the air.
Fly over Haleakala National Park, Haleakala Crater, Oheo Gulch (Seven Pools), Hana town and the Hana Rainforest Preserve - the largest rainforest in the United States.
The rest of the day will be free for you to do as you please.
Day 6 Explore Maui At Leisure
Today will be yours to do as little or as much as you like. If you have a 4×4, it’s fun to drive along the road to Hana.
Alternatively, you can explore Maui on mountain bikes, visit a pineapple farm, enjoy a surfing or paddle boarding lesson, or just relax by the pool.
Day 7 The Big Island
This morning you’ll take a short domestic flight to the Big Island (officially named Hawaii).
You’ll pick up your next rental car and drive for 40-minutes to your accommodation on the Kohala Coast of Waikoloa.
For the remainder of the day you can relax in the comfort of your room, enjoy a blissful massage in the open-air at the Hawaiian spa, chill by the pool or indulge in one of the many activities on offer. Your Lightfoot Travel Designer will be happy to recommend options prior to departure.
