“We think the Sahara Desert Camp is the only way to experience the desert! The luxury tents come with en suite bathrooms, delicious food, spectacular views over the undulating sand dunes and the opportunity to do some of the most incredible stargazing on the planet. This camp is such a unique experience and will end up being a standout moment in your trip.”
This remote and secluded eco-friendly camp at the edge of Morocco provides adventurous travellers with a unique nomadic-camping experience in the heart of the Sahara desert.
Arrival at the traditional Berber-style Sahara Camp is by a short camel ride. From the moment you set foot in the camp, you’ll be waited on by Berber nomads.
The camp features three large black and white bivouac tents, with surprisingly comfortable interiors and a shared toilet and hot shower. The whole camp is covered with colourful Berber carpets and cushions. Enjoy a delicious traditional dinner by candlelight, accompanied by musicians playing Bedouin tunes.
Go camel trekking at sunset, enjoy a cooking class, relax by the campfire and once night falls, take a walk up the dunes for a spot of stargazing.
