“All desert island dreams are met at Huvafen Fushi. All the rooms boast large, private freshwater plunge pools, private sundecks and daybeds. There’s a lovely communal pool area if you’re feeling more sociable, and the eating options are romantic, stylish and come with impeccable service. And just when you think it can't get any better, there’s the world's first underwater spa.”
Nestled within its very own private lagoon in the North Male Atoll, Huvafen Fushi is a 45-minute boat ride from the airport.
The resort is comprised of 43 land and overwater bungalows. All boast large, private freshwater plunge pools, private sundecks, daybeds, and a wealth of other luxuries. The beach bungalows have a private courtyard that overlooks the ocean and comes with direct beach access. The two-bedroom Ocean and Beach Pavilions also feature separate living and dining areas, direct beach access and a private butler. The three-bedroom Cube is a two-storey residence with a kitchen, outdoor games room, garden courtyard with BBQ grill, direct beach access and a private butler.
There are a variety of dining choices including a raw food restaurant for the health conscious.
The showstopper here has to be the underwater spa with two treatment rooms fitting up to four people. The underground wine cellar is also very special with a large table for private dining.
