Glenburn Tea Estate is located in a charming 150-year-old colonial tea plantation, and offers the perfect secluded country getaway in the picturesque Indian countryside. Located an hour from Darjeeling in West Bengal, the hotel is overlooked by Mount Kanchenjunga, providing picture-perfect scenery.
The seven suites and one room have been uniquely designed with each featuring its own style and colour scheme. All rooms include an old-fashioned bath-tub, walk-in rain shower and hand embroidered linen to highlight the opulence of this beautiful spot.
Meal times are a treat at Glenburn Tea Estate, with their own gardens producing a variety of herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables, each dish is made from home-grown delights. Guests dine together in the candle-lit dining room, but private dining is also available.
Spend your days relaxing on the veranda reading your favourite book and sipping on home-grown tea, or go for a walk through the plantation or local villages to learn a little more about the area.
