Suite in Shangri-La Hotel Paris

Once the home of Napoleon’s grandnephew, Prince Roland Bonaparte, 10 avenue Iéna, in the residential 16th arrondissement now houses the Shangri-La Hotel.

Featuring 101 rooms and suites, most of which have superb views of neighbouring Eiffel Tower, the property boasts traditional French design inspired by Napoleon’s era, with a modern twist and touches of Asian influences. The Suite Shangri-La, located on the top floor, has a stunning terrace of 100 sqm with undisrupted views of the Eiffel Tower.

There are three dining options available. La Bauhinia serves traditional French cuisine and South East Asian food with a modern touch. The Shang Palace offers dim-sum and is the first Chinese cuisine restaurant in France to receive a Michelin star. L’Abeille has a menu of dishes overlooking the hotel’s flowery gardens.

Other facilities include the CARITA spa, whilst the nearby pool is one of the largest in Paris. You can even see the tip of the Eiffel Tower while you swim.

Why we recommend SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, PARIS

“Shangri-La Hotel Paris was originally the private mansion of Roland Bonaparte, the great-nephew of Napoleon. Recalling this history, the 81 bedrooms and suites are classical, decorated in soft tones, and come with deep beds and sofas. Some have large rooftop terraces with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower. Michelin-starred Shang Palace serves probably the most authentic Cantonese cuisine in town.”
