Perched on rugged cliffs with mesmerising views over the Pacific Ocean, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is a luxury lodge on a 6,000-acre working sheep and cattle farm. This Relais & Chateaux property boasts a world-class golf course, indulgent spa, exquisite cuisine, and wonderful wildlife-viewing opportunities.
There are 20 guest suites along with the palatial Owner’s Cottage, which can be rented as a two- or four-bed house. The spacious suites feature king-size beds, walk-in wardrobes, en suites with deep, oversized bathtubs, and private balconies. The cottage also has large living and dining rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor Jacuzzi.
The restaurant menu changes daily, featuring fresh seasonal cuisine, much of which is grown or raised on the farm. There’s a choice of dining locations, and an extensive wine cellar.
The Farm is a golfer’s dream with a Tim Doak-designed, par-71 golf course, but wildlife lovers will relish a stay here too, with endangered Kiwis and the largest mainland gannet colony in the world.
