“The Savoy Hotel is a wonderful colonial-style building in a great location in Yangon. Rooms are large with seating areas, plush furnishings, large and comfortable beds, and a personal butler service. I love the pool area on the roof – it’s a fantastic place to start the day or in which to relax after a morning taking in the sights. Taking breakfast on their beautiful balcony is a delight. I went during the Thing Yan Water festival and the hotel even provided me with my own water gun so I could join in the celebrations – a lovely touch.”
