Located within the Bagan Archaeological Preservation Zone, Aureum Palace Hotel sits amongst ancient temples and spiritual monuments. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it offers a base for guests exploring the ruins of the ancient kingdom that thrived here between the 11th and 13th centuries.
The resort offers 114 deluxe rooms and private villas, scattered throughout the gardens. Rooms are elegantly appointed with teak furniture, high ceilings, intricate Burmese carvings and silks, and local antiques and artifacts. For the ultimate indulgence, the Island Villa features a private pool and indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis.
There are two restaurants serving Burmese, pan-Asian, and Western cuisine, along with a couple of bars and a private club where you can sample the Mandalay rum sour cocktail. The temples, pagodas and stupas are the main attraction; enjoy views from the hotel’s viewing tower at sunrise and sunset. Located within the Bagan Archeological Preservation Zone and boasting 27 acres of tropical gardens, Aurem Palace Hotel is a 15 minute drive drom Nyang U Airport.
Every room and villa is decked out with antique furniture and offer exclusive room amenities. The Deluxe Rooms are spacious and confortable. The Jasmine Villas are located by the river and from there guests can enjoy the river breezes from their private balcony. The Orchid Villa, Palm Tree Villa, Lotus Villa and Island Villa all have butler and valet service and all include their own terrace and balcony. The Island Villa is perfect for a romantic getaway, boasting its very own private pool, whilst the Lotus Villa is a two-bedroom abode, also with private pool, ideal for families.
Bagan's main attraction, its temples, will keep guests occupied for much of their time whilst in the region. Cycling from temple to temple is a great way to discover these architectural marvels. Flying over the temples in a hot air balloon is also a unique and unforgettable experience.
