Amanwana Indonesia

Amanwana is a luxurious tented camp set within a designated wildlife reserve on the Indonesian island of Moyo, to the east of Bali and just north of Sumba, a one-hour flight from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The resort features a collection of 20 luxurious eastern-colonial-style tents which blend into the forest canopy and lead straight onto a gorgeous white sand beach. The tents have either a jungle or ocean view, and all have hard wooden flooring, glass floor-to-ceiling windows and a soft canvas roof. They're extremely spacious and each one has been elegantly furnished to the highest standard.

Dining options are this remote resort are far from limited.  The Dining Room and Bar are located in an open air pavilion with a soaring 15 metre roof made of bamboo, overlooking Amanwana Bay. A daily menu of Asian and Western food is served and romantic campfire dinners on the beach and starlight cruises can be arranged.

The open air jungle spa uses local unique organic products to rejuvenate and pamper, and it's ideal for those looking to switch off and relax in the ultimate tranquil setting.

Why we recommend Amanwana

"This glorious resort features 20 luxurious eastern-colonial-style tents which blend into the forest canopy and lead straight onto a gorgeous white sand beach. As well as the hotel's unique position overlooking the turquoise Flores Sea, we love Amanwana for its green credentials which are in keeping with the wild, pristine setting. Guests can contribute to its Moyo Conservation Fund which benefits nearby village communities and the environment."
