“The location of Davison’s Camp makes it excellent for game viewing; in summer, wildebeest, zebra and eland are found in abundance, while in winter the waterholes draw big numbers of elephants. Take the stairs to the platform above the main area where you’ll get a great panorama over the waterhole at the front of camp. The two bedroomed tent here is a fantastic option for a family.”
Located in a remote, wildlife-rich area of the Hwange National Park, Davison’s Camp is part of the private Linkwasha Concession. It offers exceptional wildlife-viewing opportunities, with elephants, buffalos and antelopes regular visitors to its busy watering hole.
Accommodation is in nine safari-style tents, including one family unit. The tents are generously spaced, and they feature twin beds next to canvas sides that roll up so you have superb views from bed. There’s also an en suite with toilet and hot shower, and veranda overlooking the plains and watering hole.
Food is served on the pine deck. There’s also a lounge bar, sundeck, and plunge pool with a view of the watering hole.
The camp is renowned for its expert guides, with day and night game drives and guided bush walks the highlight of any stay. You can also go birdwatching, spot wildlife from the camp hide, or enjoy cultural visits to local villages.
