Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park is the most diverse and largest national park in Zimbabwe and to many, the most impressive eco-tourism programs in all of Africa. The dizzying number of species, both is enough to turn even the most urbane city slicker into a true nature enthusiast.

Situated to the west of Zimbabwe, the park nearly touches the Kalahari dessert and he lower wetlands of the east create natural lakes and vegetation for feeding.

With over 400 species of birds and 100 plus animals, Wildlife here is remarkably flourishing. Lions, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, flamingos all call the park their home.

The range is amazingly well set up for visitors who plan to spend a week or two staying on the plains. Hwange boasts almost a dozen different camping sites all over the territory and accommodation is of a very high standard.
