“Offering the ultimate camping experience in just three stylish treehouses, Chamilundu Bush Camp is superbly located in the wild and remote south of South Luangwa National Park, with views of the Luangwa River and the Chindeni Hills. The viewing hide overlooking the lagoon behind camp is the perfect place to while away an afternoon inbetween exploring the vast range of habitats in the surrounding area.”
Chamilandu Bushcamp lies in an ebony grove on the banks of the Luangwa River with a backdrop of the Chindeni Hills, deep in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park. Open from June to November, this luxury safari camp overlooks a lagoon and attracts a huge array of wildlife.
It has just three treehouse-style chalets built on stilts above the riverbank. Each one has an open-fronted bathroom and a private timber veranda, perfect for relaxing on as you enjoy the magnificent views.
Start the day with a walking safari or game drive. After a delicious brunch relax and watch the animals drink at the lagoon from the hide, and later indulge in a sumptuous dinner under the stars.
