One&Only Le Saint Geran, Mauritius, Africa
This legendary ‘Grande Dame’ of Mauritius is nestled on a pristine private peninsula and is the ultimate tropical playground for romantics, families and adventurers alike. The facilities make it hard to leave the resort, but once you’ve had your fill of the pools and beaches, make the most of the watersports provided or treat yourself to some expert water ski and kite-surfing tuition. Dry land offers golf, tennis and hiking trails, or excursions to nearby botanical gardens and nature reserves.
Occupying its own private peninsula where coconut palm groves are fringed by white sand and pristine sea, the One&Only Le Saint Géran is one of the best-known and most sought-after hotels in Mauritius.
One hundred and sixty-six spacious suites face the Indian Ocean and the sugarcane plantations on the mountainsides beyond. Each one comes with a terrace or balcony, a private pool and 24-hour villa host. We recommend that families book one of four two-room ocean suites.
When it comes to dining, guests are spoilt for choice. The innovative menus at Rasoi by Vineet restaurant are designed by Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. Prime serves steakhouse grills and fresh seafood. Alternatively, choose casual poolside dining at La Terrasse, the Pool Bar or the Golf Club Bar.
Additional facilities at One&Only Le Saint Géran include a swimming pool, a KidsOnly Club (3-11 years), the One&Only Spa and a 9-hole golf course designed by Gary Player.
