Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge, Madagascar, Africa
Small but mighty, Manafiafy Beach & Rainforest Lodge in Africa's Madagascar combines a gorgeous coastline with assorted activities in their nearby reserve. Take night walks to spot Madagascar's nocturnal lemurs, see magical sunsets, explore the rainforest, relax on beautiful beaches, and immerse yourself in the slow life of the local fishing village. Their special whale watching tower is also brilliant for some of the best whale watching during season.
Located two hours north east of Fort Dauphin near the village of Manafiafy in Madagascar, Manafiafy Rainforest Lodge is tucked along protected, rainforest-fringed shores which are perfect for snorkelling and swimming.
The four luxury bungalows and one family villa are nestled along the edge of the forest, just inches from the sea, all with private wooden terraces and views across the bay. A private terrace with hammock, a super king-sized and an en suite bathroom with hot water and a walk-in shower add to the comforts.
Meals at Manafiafy Rainforest Lodge are enjoyed in the open thatched dining area of Ravinala. You can also watch the sunset by the outdoor campfire or enjoy an aperitif in the lounge by the fireplace. Continental breakfasts are served in the public dining area or on your terrace.
