Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park is located just west of Victoria Falls in Botswana. It has one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Africa, counting leopards, giraffes, baboons, impala and lions among its many inhabitants.

Chobe National Park is most famous, however, for its extraordinary population of Kalahari elephants, estimated to be more than 50,000 strong. During the dry season between April and October, the Chobe River provides the only source of water in the region resulting in a spectacular gathering of wildlife.

Our luxury safaris and wildlife tours use only the most knowledgeable and experience private guides. And by booking with Lightfoot Travel you’ll receive both their expert knowledge and insider tips from our consultants who have travelled extensively in the region.

We’ll have you staying in a luxury eco-friendly lodge in the remote northerly area of Savuti. After nearly 30 years of drought, the Savuti Channel is flowing again and it remains the best place to get up close to all manner of animals from buffalo to zebra to majestic lion prides.
