Day 1
Arrival Havana
Today you’ll be met at the airport and escorted to your hotel.
The rest of your day will be spent at your leisure.

Day 2
City Walking Tour – Convertible Car Tour
This morning, you’ll embark on a walking tour of the city along the alleyways and across the squares of Old-Havana: Plaza de Armas, Templete, Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza Vieja. You’ll also take in the Malecón, Hotel Nacional, Avenida de los Presidentes and Plaza de la Revolución.
The afternoon is a chance for you to explore in style as you’re escorted on a tour in a classic 1950s convertible car while learning about the life of the famous American writer, Ernest Hemingway.
You’ll visit the house he used to live in which surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, boasts magnificent views of the city, and stands exactly as Hemingway left it in 1960 - with hundreds of personal belongings, his large swimming pool and the Wheeler boat he used for fishing.

Day 3
Full Day Tour Of Vinales
Today you’ll take the “tobacco route” to the western part of the island, where the best tobacco-growing ground is found alongside imposing limestone towers. You’ll also visit a local farmer and learn about his daily life in the tobacco trade.
Afterwards you’ll hike along Vinales valley, surrounded by unique fields and flora and fauna, greeting the locals and learning about the culture as you go.
You’ll stop for a traditional meal before being returned to your hotel.

Day 4
Private Art Tour
Today you’ll be taken on a private art tour, visiting two Cuban artists in their studios.
The afternoon will be spent at your leisure.

Day 5
Havana – Santiago De Cuba
Today you’ll be transferred to Havana Airport for your flight to Santiago. You’ll be met at the airport in Santiago upon arrival and escorted to your hotel.
In the early evening you’ll be taken to El Morro Fortress to enjoy the sunset.

Day 6
Santiago De Cuba City Tour
This morning you’ll head on a tour of Santiago de Cuba.
You’ll visit Moncada Barracks and Revolution Square and soak up the atmosphere in Céspedes Park.
In the afternoon you’ll visit the Church of La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, dedicated to Cuba’s patron saint and previously visited by both former popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI. You’ll then climb the hill to the Cimarrón monument which is a sculpture honoring one of the earliest slave revolts that took place in the country.

Day 7
Santiago – Camaguey
Today you’ll be privately transferred to your next hotel.
In the evening you’ll have the chance to take a guided walk around Camaguey, exploring the winding historic streets and architecture, and learning about the past and the people.

Day 8
Camaguey – Trinidad (via Santa Clara)
This morning you’ll depart Camaguey for Trinidad via Santa Clara.
No trip to Cuba is complete without a trip to the Che memorial. Here, you’ll pay homage to this charismatic leader of the Cuban revolution where he fought and won the battle of Santa Clara.
Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Trinidad.

Day 9
Trinidad City Tour
Today you’ll head on a walking tour around Trinidad. Your guide will talk you through the history of the town and share insights into its complex history both in the colonial period and in the years after the revolution.
The rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

Day 10
Sugar Plantations And Slave History
This morning you’ll take a tour of the region's sugar plantations and learn about slave history.
More than a million African slaves were brought to Cuba as part of the Atlantic slave trade in the 16th century and Cuba did not end its participation until 1867. A large proportion of Cubans are descended from these African slaves, perhaps as many as 60% of the population.

Day 11
Trinidad – Melia Buena Vista
Today you will be transferred to the beach resort of Melia Buena Vista where you will spend the next few days surrounded by unspoilt white sand and the sparkling Caribbean Sea, doing as much or as little as you please.

Day 12
Melia Buena Vista
Today is at your own leisure.

Day 13
Departure
Today you will be escorted to the airport for your return flight home.
