Singita Ebony Lodge

Greater Kruger

The award-winning Singita Sabi Sand game reserve spans more than 45,000 acres and is famed for its big cats, particularly leopard. Singita Ebony Lodge sits on the banks of the Sand River and is the original grande dame of the Singita groups’ properties.

Opulent and old-school, with deep armchairs and crystal glasses, and littered with treasured family books, photographs, and antiques, this is a property that was designed to be home and retains a colonial feel and a true sense of timelessness.

All twelve suites – two of which boast two-bedrooms so they’re ideal for families – have their own private plunge pool. Rooms are extremely spacious, and furnishings and tend to be black and white in color, with textured fabrics, animal and portrait photography, and tribal antiques.

The Lodge’s chef provides food that is homely and uncomplicated, complemented by Singita’s extensive and award-winning wine selection. There’s also a large swimming pool, Bush Spa, and gym facilities for guests to enjoy at the Main Lodge.
