Hello Melissa,

We enjoyed Japan and it was a great family trip and we all had a lot of fun. My daughter and son were looking forward to good food and new experiences and they had all that.
It is actually not so difficult to go around since in nearly all the trains, there were either announcement or board in english.
We enjoyed it.

We loved the Four Seasons Tokyo, but I am biased since this is one of my favorite hotels worldwide.
The rooms were very nice, big, clear and we loved the bathroom, although it could have had two sinks. The breakfast was excellent and the service in the restaurant faultless. The concierge and for that matter anybody at the reception were very helpful. They exchanged our Japan Rail passes on the morning of our arrival when we were having breakfast so we would not wait on line and will have more time for visiting. They also get our tickets to go to Hakone and from Hakone to Kyoto.
The concierge was extremely helpful, making phone call to check if the place we wanted to visit were open on Sunday… I had a few restaurants recommendation sent to me by one of the Japanese chef here in Singapore and since it was in Japanese I could not read.
He marked every single one on the map and wrote the name in Japanese and English so we could go there with no trouble, check for us if they were open… They even got us to the station to make sure we took the right train.
Perfect, great stay.

Thank you for organising this for us.
