Hi Melissa, how are you?
Thank you so much for arranging this trip for us, we had a great time.
You were right about Niyama. It is a beautiful resort and well worth visiting. I would not hesitate to go back there again as it really was paradise.
The whole architecture of the resort was absolutely stunning. The design of the various buildings and villas were totally spectacular blending in beautifully and effortlessly with the exquisite surroundings.
The layout of the villa was very impressive indeed. Everything from the peaceful and relaxing interior to the striking private pool area with the spectacular views out over the lagoon was just perfect. It really was heaven!
Not only were the restaurants designed beautifully but the service and food was absolutely magnificent. Although pretty expensive which I guess you have to expect at a resort like Niyama, the food was very impressive and every meal we had was superb.
All the staff were always very friendly and very helpful and it was nice to be greeted constantly with big smiles and “hello’s” wherever we went. The staff members at Epicure, Tribal and the Spa were exceptionally adorable and friendly and always so welcoming. We ending up leaving with a few new friends that we will be staying in touch with
The only downsides which we did mention to Malcolm (training) and Geoff (Executive chef) over the Tuesday night cocktails were our butler and the limited amount of main dishes available at The Edge.
Our butler was a lovely young lad, great personality and very keen to assist except he kept forgetting arrangements. Twice we didn’t get picked up for dinners in the evening and often we had to phone him to confirm that he was going to pick us up and that he had booked us a table. As Malcolm mentioned, that is something we should not have to be doing and he was grateful of the feedback.
Other than that the stay was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to go back again.
