Koggala, Sri Lanka
Launching towards the end of 2015, Tri Lanka will be Sri Lanka’s first contemporary, sustainable luxury design hotel. Tri Lanka is set in lush vegetation on a hillside on the shores of Koggala Lake close to sandy beaches and not far from from the historic Galle Fort. It is built from recycled wood and local materials and features living walls and green roofs, and a water tower with 360-degree views at its centre. Its cutting edge design cleverly blends in with the breathtaking natural surroundings.
Offering a combination of impeccable service; top-notch cuisine; superb facilities including a spectacular cantilevered pool; and an emphasis on remarkable experiences for the body, mind and soul, it will appeal to those seeking a peaceful and unforgettable escape in an enchanting setting.
Tri Lanka provides ten individually spacious and designed suites that form a spiral around the hillside, the design inspired by the spirals of the Fibonacci sequence.
There is an array of experiences on offer designed to showcase Sri Lankan culture and natural beauty as well as beach and lake activities. Explore Koggala Lake by boat, take a yoga class, take a stroll on the beach or enjoy a blissful treatment at the spa.
Lightfoot Travel provides tailor-made itineraries that include daily tours and excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, and can incorporate the Southern Beaches into a greater Sri Lankan holiday. Take a look at Tea Plantations and Coastal Hideaways as an example of a bespoke itinerary that we can create for you.
