Delaire Graff is home to some of the most exceptional accommodation, art, design, food and wine, in one of the most stunning natural settings. The property is a piece of paradise nestled between the majestic mountains of the Helshoogte Mountain Pass and overlooking the vineyards of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, the two leading Cape wine destinations.

The estate consists of 10 sumptuous lodges each with their own private plunge pools and sweeping views. The lodges are filled with bespoke interiors, private and well stocked kitchens and the finest cotton bed linen. There are four single bedroom lodges with garden views, four single bedroom lodges with vineyard views and two two-bedroom Presidential and Owners Lodges.

The food on offer does not fail to impress as well, with a not-to-be-missed dining experience at Indochine, which serves Asian inspired cuisine presented with a contemporary yet delicate twist.

There are superb golf courses in the area; horse lovers can ride in the Cape winelands as well as play polo at nearby Val de Vie; and hot air ballooning can be arranged.

Location & Getting There

Nestled between the majestic mountains of the Helshoogte Mountain Pass and overlooking the vineyards of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, Delaire Graff is a 35-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.

Accommodations

The estate consists of 10 sumptuous lodges each with their own private plunge pools and sweeping views. The Owner’s Lodge offers the luxury of two lodges combined, with 2 bedrooms, dressing areas, a butler’s kitchen, a living room and a large dining area. Luxury Lodges feature glass-fronted bedrooms and decks with private heated plunge pools. Deluxe Lodges also have a separate living room, kitchen, pool terrace and private pool. The Presidential Lodge boasts a full-size pool and 2 oversized bedrooms on both sides of the living area, along with a luxurious outdoor dining terrace.

Activities

For the more active, there are a number of superb golf courses in the area, while horse lovers can ride in the Cape winelands. Guests can also play polo at nearby Val de Vie, or go hot air ballooning to float over the stunning scenery of the winelands. Franschhoek is a 20-minute drive away, a town known for its picturesque beauty. A visit to Stellenbosch, one of South Africa’s most scenically attractive and historically preserved towns, is also highly recommended.
