An ideal starting point for a Sabah adventure, the Sepilok Nature Resort is a cosy tranquil lodge combining traditional style with contemporary luxury.
The Sepilok Nature Resort comprises of wooden twin-bed chalets, dotted around a lake amongst naturally manicured lawns and rolling hills. All rooms are comfortably furbished and fully air-conditioned, featuring private bathrooms and lake or jungle view verandas – don’t be surprised if you find an Orang-Utan or a pig-tail marquee sitting on your veranda in the mornings!
The quaint bungalows of the resort are within walking distance of the world-famous Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, the home of some of the last Orang-Utans of Northern Borneo as well as a large number of different bird species. You can also take guided tours to the Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre, just next door, trek through the Sepilok Forest Reserve a few minutes’ walk away or take a river trip down to the neighbouring areas, including the fauna rich Sukau and Turtle Island.
