Sanctuary Lodge is nestled in pretty gardens overlooking the Modi River in Nepal. This boutique eco-lodge is located in the Annapurna Conservation Area, 1,060 metres above sea level in breathtaking natural surroundings with spectacular views of the sacred Fishtail Mountain. - Location and Getting there
The lodge is situated in Nepal, an hour and 15 minute drive from Pokhara, followed by a one to two hour walk along the Modi River. Or you can book a 4x4 jeep to get you there from the road. Pokhara is a 25-minute flight from the international airport at Kathmandu.
All of the 18 rooms come with en suite bathrooms with hot running water. Blankets, down bedding and hot water bottles are supplied.

The lodge is in a prime location for trekking. You will be accompanied by an experienced Gurkha guide and Sherpa who will carry your bags. Visits to local villages can be arranged.
Children are accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Given the focus here is on trekking, it is more suited to adults or families with older children.
