Masai Mara, Kenya
On the banks of the Sand and Keekorok rivers, Sala’s camp is an intimate property boasting an authentic safari experience. Having received a major makeover in 2016, the Kenyan beauty now houses seven large new tents, accommodating up to 22 guests. All seven tents will come with lavish private plunge pools as of 1 December 2017
Its close location to the Northern Corridor, where millions of wildebeest pass through during the yearly migration, makes it a perfect place for game viewing. It is also within close proximity to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, just over the border.
There is nothing quite like ending the day with sundowners overlooking the majestic scenery that unfolds. Dinner is also quite the experience at Sala’s Camp, served under the brightly lit Kenyan skies.

While on a game drive, it is fairly common to spot the Big Five and walking safaris are also a great way to experience the wilderness. For something even more unique, guests can hop aboard a hot-air balloon for a panoramic aerial safari. Star gazers can also learn about the various formations in Kenya’s unpolluted skies.
Children of all ages are welcome and under-threes stay free at Sala's Camp. There is much for children to learn whilst on a special safari programme where the spotters teach young guests all the secrets of the bush. Activities include searching for the 'toothbrush tree' and spotting the 'Little Five' on game drives. Baby-sitters and special menu for children also available by prior arrangement.
