Masai Mara, Kenya

Located in the wilder corner of Kenya’s famed Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Sala’s Camp opened its doors in 2004 to much acclaim, combining tradition, comfort and understated luxury.

On the banks of the Sand and Keekorok rivers, Sala’s camp is an intimate property boasting an authentic safari experience with only seven tented rooms, or up to 16 guests.

Its close location to the Northern Corridor, where millions of wildebeest pass through during the yearly migration, makes it a perfect place for game viewing. It is also within close proximity to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, just over the border.

There is nothing quite like ending the day with sundowners overlooking the majestic scenery that unfolds. Dinner is also quite the experience at Sala’s Camp, served under the brightly lit Kenyan skies.

Lightfoot Travel provides tailor-made itineraries that include daily tours and excursions, restaurant recommendations and bookings, and can incorporate the Masai Mara into a greater Kenya and African holiday.
