Why we recommend Rosewood Mayakoba

Surrounded by mangroves and lagoons, staying at Rosewood Mayakoba is an adventure in itself! The rooms are superb (some only accessible by boat), as are the restaurants, but what we really love about this hotel is how much they care about supporting the local community. They’ve set up a school nearby for the children of staff and local villagers and guests are encouraged to help by bringing along school supplies to donate to the project.
