Hidden in the hauntingly beautiful Taharua Valley in the middle of New Zealand’s North Island, Poronui is a 40-minute drive from Rotorua International Airport.
There are 3 accomodation options: the cosy main Poronui Lodge, the luxurious Blake House and for those looking to get closer to nature, the Safari Camp. Poronui Lodge is a warm and welcoming communal amenity surrounded by 7 free-standing guest cabins, as well as a balcony which overlooks the river. Blake House contains 4 twin rooms and 2 bunkrooms, with complementing sunrooms and expansive lounges that features huge fireplaces. The Safari Camp includes two accommodation tents and a separate amenities tent, where guests are able to cook with gas-powered hotplates.

Poronui is home to Taharua and Mohaka River, which can be easily accessed by helicopter for an exhilarating fly fishing experience.
