- Location and getting there:
It is situated a 3-hour drive from Ecuador’s capital, Quito. The nearest airport is Mariscal Sucre Airport, a 90-minute drive away.
It accommodates up to 44 guests in 19 Wayra rooms (34-sqm) and 3 Yaku suites (37-sqm) arranged over three floors, all with floor-to-ceiling windows. Each room is decorated in a minimalist style with warm earth tones and features a king or queen-size bed, wooden furnishings and LED lighting. Suites come with king-size beds and large bathrooms with Philippe Starck bathtubs. Interconnecting rooms are available for families.
Spa and Jacuzzi
As well as bird watching, you can go on a night walk, hike to the Copal Waterfall, ride on the Sky Bike or visit the Life Centre. There are also yoga classes.
Children are welcome and there are kids’ menus and amenities for babies but due to the location and nature of the lodge, it is better-suited couples or families with older kids.
