- Location & Getting There
Uluru (Ayers Rock) is located in the Red Centre of Australia, in the Northern Territory. Direct flights are available between Ayers Rock Airport and both Sydney, Cairns and Alice Springs. Flight times are approximately 3 hours from Sydney and Cairns and 1 hour from Alice Springs. Longitude 131 is then a short 20-minute drive from Ayers Rock Airport. Guests can also opt for the more scenic and far more exhilerating helicopter transfer between Ayers Rock Airport and and the Longitude 131 helipad.
The lodge's 15 luxurious pavilions, nestled in the desert between Uluru and Kata Tjuta, comprise a palatial sleeping and lounge space, spacious ensuite bathrooms with oversized rain showers and complimentary in-suite bar. One entire glass wall provides unparalled private vistas of the sunrise and sunset of Uluru with just a flick of the bedside switch - a completely sophisticated version of an explorer's tent!
